Home Alone Trailer

As much as we enjoy the first Home Alone, we also enjoy the sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Kevin running amok in New York, swindling his way past Tim Curry, Dana Ivey, and Rob Schneider to stay at the renowned Plaza Hotel, and meeting the frightening (and likely to be stinky) Pidgeon Lady, played by Academy Award winner Brenda Fricker, can’t go wrong.

As one might assume, the sequel to Home Alone is available on the same platform as the original. Home Alone 2: Lost in New York is also available on Disney+, as with the significantly lesser sequels Home Alone 3, Home Alone 4, Home Alone: The Holiday Heist, and the new reboot, Home Sweet Home Alone. However, we recommend sticking with Mac and only watching the first two episodes.

Is Home Alone Worth Watching?

Home Alone is not only one of the most successful films of all time, but it also deserves more recognition. Mac displayed a skill that very few child stars have nowadays. He brought in a hilarious comedy about a youngster who is unintentionally left home alone when his family goes on vacation and has to deal with two robbers.

This is a fun, albeit unrealistic, family entertainment that both kids and adults will love provided they don’t mind the violence, profanity, and rude behavior. Home Alone stands out among the regular Christmas movie fare because of its appealing tale and a lovely performance by Culkin.
