Gen V Plot
Gen V will take place on a college campus that is only for Supes, who go to the Godolkin University School of Crimefighting.
Vought International owns and runs this school. Even though the setting is different, Gen V will add more Marvel and DC characters to the list of characters that The Boys make fun of. Kripke told TheWrap in a 2020 interview that the show will be loosely based on the G-Men, a satirical version of the X-Men from The Boys comics about a super team put together by a pedophile named John Godolkin.
“Part of the G-Men is an educational college experience, and we just used that as a jumping-off point,” Kripke said. “It’s kind of like The Boys, where we start with an idea and then take it in our own weird direction.”

Kripke hopes that the show will be “one of the most realistic colleges shows anyone’s made.” The spin-off will take place in the same world as the original show, but there are no plans for crossovers at this time.
While season 3 of The Boys looked at the effects of Temp V or V24, which gives people superpowers for only 24 hours, Gen V will show more about how Vought turns teens into Supes for good with Compound V.
Where To Watch Gen V?
Amazon Prime Video will be the only place where Gen V can be viewed online in its entirety. The release timeframe is somewhere in 2023, although there isn’t a definite date set for it yet.
