BTS Creates History at the 2022 MAMAs, While Suga and J-Hope Win Big

At the MAMA Prizes 2022 ceremony, BTS was successful in winning multiple awards. J-Hope was the only member of the group to attend the ceremony, and he contributed his talents to a number of hit songs.

At the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2022, BTS took home several trophies. In addition to taking home the trophy for Worldwide Fan’s Choice, they were also victorious in the Album of the Year category with their compilation album Proof. They triumphed in a category that also included Seventeen, TXT, Stray Kids, NCT Dream, and ENHYPEN, and they were awarded the prize for Best Male Group.

The song “That That” by Suga and PSY was awarded the prize for “Best Collaboration.” Additionally, the band was given the prize for Worldwide Icon of the Year. It was almost a battle of BTS against BTS at the MAMA nominations, as J-Hope and Crush’s “Rush Hour” was up against Suga and Jimin’s “That That” for the award for Best Collaboration. J-Hope was named the Most Popular Male Artist of the Year and won the title.

Not only did the rapper make a slick appearance on the red carpet, but this year also saw the release of his album Jack in the Box. In addition to that, he was given an award for Culture and Style. In addition to that, he placed a heartfelt phone call to Jin and required him to communicate with ARMY.

J-Hope gave a performance of his song “Future” as the ceremony was taking place. RM, the leader of BTS’s band, went on Instagram and released a video of J-Hope playing, in which he instructed J-Hope to turn up the volume.

On the other side, Seventeen was awarded the prize for Best Dance performance for their song “Hot,” which was performed at the competition. The award for the Best Female Group was given to Blackpink. Awards were also bestowed upon the well-known singer IU during the event.

The members of BTS are slated to begin their mandatory military service beginning with Jin on December 13, when it is anticipated that he will report to boot camp.

Because the other band members have not yet released their CDs, it is too early to determine their performance plans. Indigo, which RM will release on December 2, will consist of 10 individual tracks.
