LAHORE, Pakistan: The newly elected government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Punjab has been landed into another controversy thanks to its Information minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan’s stunt on a Pakistani media outlet Samaa News.

Chohan was captured abusing the previous government’s ministers when the host asked a tough question. He further abused the TV host and the news channel after the live program was taken off air.

While leaving, he was recorded in an off the record video, saying “you guys should be ashamed of, is this the way to treat me?”

In another video leaked on social media, the minister was seen speaking at an event in Lahore and warning the cinema owners to not put ‘half-naked’ pictures of actresses.

Later, Senior Punjab Minister Aleem Khan apologized over the behaviour of his colleague. The issue must have been brought into the knowledge of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, he added.
